CEIBS Chongqing Alumni Association “Huabo Junwei Cup” Guandan Tournament Concludes Successfully!

On April 21, the 1st CEIBS Chongqing Alumni Association “Huabo Junwei Cup” Guandan Tournament was successfully held. Hosted by CEIBS Chongqing Alumni Association, this event was sponsored by Chongqing Huabo Junwei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Alumni‑owned enterprises Zhuyi · Garden Restaurant and Gujing Gongjiu provided venue and beverage support. Nearly forty alumni participated in the tournament.

After checking‑in on the tournament day, numerous players cheered each other on, all hoping to achieve satisfying results in the competition.

The tournament officially kicked off at 2:30 p.m. All players threw themselves into the game with full concentration, competing in mental agility, card‑playing skills and luck.

After three rounds of fierce competition, judges tabulated scores to produce the final rankings. The team of Shang Yu and Zhang Xiyue claimed the championship; the team of Tang Junfei and Hong Yang took second place; the team of Wang Hua and Lai Guoqing secured third place. Four additional teams were awarded Merit Prizes.

Alumni graduated in different years. Starting as strangers to one another, they found more topics of conversation through successive group matches. During match breaks, alumni enjoyed fresh fruits and pastries while exchanging thoughts and experience of the game. Many alumni commented that such offline events were highly meaningful and should be held more often.

This Guandan tournament offered a platform for enthusiasts to showcase talent and exchange skills, while strengthening connections and communication among alumni. After‑game dinner was served in the restaurant. The 1st CEIBS Chongqing Alumni Association “Huabo Junwei Cup” Guandan Tournament drew to a joyful close amid laughter and cheers from all alumni.
